Nielsen Manager, Product Sales in Warsaw, Poland

Overview

Nielsen is looking for a Manager, Product Sales focused on account relationships across a roster of Nielsen's Advertiser, Agency, Digital, and TV media clients. This role is focused on renewing existing business and expanding sales of Nielsen’s audience measurement services through direct client engagement, working closely with account management and product to demonstrate Nielsen’s value to current and prospective clients. In this role, you will support Nielsen’s Planning and Media Analytics solutions across international markets and all verticals.

Goals

  • Drive international revenue growth through renewals of existing agreements, selling in existing services to new clients, and upselling new capabilities as they are developed

  • Provide expert-level point of view on client needs to International Nielsen internal teams, speaking with authority to ensure product development priorities and commercial considerations focus on top strategic imperatives

  • Work closely with manager and Nielsen internal teams to provide voice of client for our solutions, helping product sales ensure that product development priorities and commercial considerations focus on top strategic imperatives

Responsibilities

  • Provide product expertise in direct client pitches, clearly communicating to prospects the product benefits and how those benefits will address key client needs, including but not limited to product demos.

  • Begin developing knowledge of your product suite, with an ability to address client questions effectively and also recognizing when you need additional support to answer

  • Execute industry and client-specific sales strategy as directed by manager and Account Management

  • Participation in the sales process from prospecting, to negotiating and closing contracts

  • Communicate and prioritize client requirements, escalating as needed to resolve all issues in a proactive and timely manner.

  • Identify opportunities and develop proposals that address the client’s core business issues.

  • Attend client and industry-specific meetings.

  • Engage in other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience in sales, a background in agency or publisher, and experience with media planning a plus

  • Commitment to learning that allows development of in depth knowledge of Nielsen as a business and its products, services, and offerings, as well as building an understanding of the media industry, including current state and future trends

  • Attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines and respond to clients in a timely manner

  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work well with a diverse customer base and various internal teams

  • Motivated to drive sales and delight clients largely using phone, email and online meetings

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Strong team player - this is a sales role that will adapt with the team over time
