Nielsen Global Delivery Leader - Media Evaluation( Sports) in Bengaluru, India

In the highly competitive world of sports, it's critical to use effective media and advertising strategies to communicate offerings to a mass audience. Nielsen Sports provides essential services to clients, helping them to measure, analyse, and interpret the effectiveness of their advertising and investments, and to make sound economic decisions.

As part of the leader of the Global Delivery Hub Media team, you'll manage the people and processes critical to building analysis used to advise clients on the exposure of their brands or platforms in media and to identify areas for improvement. You'll work closely with International colleagues to understand specific clients needs and requirements and use this information to create detailed analyses, combining data from different sources in the Nielsen Sports product portfolio.

In addition to your leadership and business process skills, you'll be an excellent communicator, allowing you to drive continuous improvement in the productivity of your unit and create highly effective relationships of trust with your peers in Nielsen leadership around the world.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Global Media Delivery Lead

  • Purpose: Leading a team of approximately 50 project managers who are delivering outputs to clients all over the world. You will be liaising between Sales and Operations colleagues across Europe, Asia and North America managing both syndicated and custom client projects. You will also coordinate internally with our country-level Client Media Solutions teams to deliver best-in-class sponsorship media analysis to our clients that range from sports properties, teams and leagues to esports organisers and brands. You will be a senior member of our Global Operations Leadership team.

  • Specific Skills & Experience required:

  • Proven successful people leadership of teams of similar size in the media analytics industry preferably with experience in the following sectors - sponsorship, advertising, broadcast, digital media.

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and proven successful experience in a client facing role as well as operational assignments.

  • Know what it takes to build a highly successful project management org, delivering complex client analytical projects, using project management platforms, measuring performance and managing diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to coach your team to this end.

  • High level of experience using business intelligence platforms, and driving productivity with these tools.

  • Experience in building strategy around data access/data warehousing to optimise productivity.

  • Masters degree or equivalent in a subject where both extensive written and verbal communication skills and advanced mathematical analytical skills are key.

  • Strong understanding of the global media ecosystem, how it is measured, and how advertisers and media platforms interact.

  • Experience in leading global capabilities teams and working with both on-shore and off-shore teams

  • You'll continuously expand your knowledge of our clients, the sports business landscape, and the media and advertising industry to provide the most effective solutions to our clients.

  • Working closely with all media operations leadership at Nielsen Sports, relaying information to the appropriate team to align client projects and meet service-level agreements.

  • You'll also collaborate on projects with other Solutions groups, where applicable.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services and products by adopting and implementing automation of our processes and services.

  • You'll also be responsible for the profitability of the projects your team delivers, ensuring that they meet or exceed budget expectations.

  • Independently analysing information and occasionally presenting to clients with other experienced team members.You 'll be able to analyse data and turn the results into compelling stories that deliver meaningful insights and added value to our clients.
